Traditional Xi'an Food: Sour Soup Dumpling

We all know that dumpling is very popular in China. In addition, there are many kinds of dumplings in China; the ways of making and eating dumplings are various. Here I would like to introduce a kind of traditional Xi'an dumpling: sour soup dumpling.




There are no special differences between sour soup dumpling and other dumpling. The main feature of the sour soup dumpling lies in its sour soup. The sour soup is made from 13 kinds of materials.

This traditional flavor snack has a long history of more than one thousand years. In addition, the filling of the sour soup dumpling is often the mutton. When eating the dumpling, it will be put into the special-made soup: sour soup.

The special sour soup contains tens of materials such as dried small shrimps, processed sesame, parsley, Chinese chive powder, butter, balsam, chicken fat, sweetened vinegar, soy sauce and so on.

Especially in the cold winter, to eat a large bowl of sour soup dumpling is a cool experience.
